Welcome to the Trail Gaiters & Friends riding club.

Are you interested in an East Texas riding club?  Our club rides with all breeds of horses.  Trail Gaiters & Friends schedules an “official” trail ride once a month somewhere in East Texas, usually on the third Saturday of the month.  Many of the members ride weekly.  Twice a year we schedule rides outside of our East Texas area.

As a member, you will receive a monthly e-newsletter and emails to keep you informed of trail ride events plus equestrian events happening in East Texas.  In addition, our members will receive one free ad for 3 months on our website and newsletter.  You can use this ad to advertise your farm, sell a horse, trailer, saddle, or your business.

Our club was established in 2008 so people can get together for family fun and fellowship with other horse owners.  Some of the breeds represented in our club are Tennessee Walking, Missouri Fox Trotters, Rocky Mountain, Spotted Saddle horses, Spotted Mountain, McCurdy, Arabians, Peruvian, and Quarter horses.  For the riding comfort for all riders attending our monthly rides, we do have a fast group and a slow group.

Our annual membership dues are $15.00 for a single or $25.00 for family membership.  See our membership page for more details.

Here are some of the places we ride Mineola Nature Preserve, Double Heart, Tarrant Ranch in Bullard, Fairchild State Forest, Davidson Foundation, Trace Trails, Caddo Grasslands Ebenezer Equestrian Park, Idle Nook Horse Camp and J  D Trail Riding Camp just to name a few.
